A summer BBQ at the Bishopsworth Manor House

A summer BBQ for the BTA members was organised at the Bishopsworth Manor House this year. Weather broadcast for that day was not very promising: heavy showers, gusty wind, temperature drop. However the event took place and we were not dissapointed. Derek and Esther Pickup have bought an Urban Shelter, so we were kept dry.

Khachapuri (Georgian Cheese Bread) baked by Esther, BBQ meat with vegetarian option, salad, rhubarb crumble with a vanila custard from Nina Bendukidze, the Georgian wine served by Bev and Colin Evans and cosy atmosphere made up for it. Above all we were lucky to have a tour of the Manor House. The proud owner of the house, former Lord Mayor of Bristol Royston Alan Griffeyand, was our host and guide.
Such a beautiful day!
