The BTA in conjunction with Bristol City Council and the Bristol Museum Service held a very successful, well attended free event highlighting the twinning between Bristol and Tbilisi. "Twinning Tuesdays" are an opportunity to discover more about the cities around the world that are twinned with Bristol. Can you place them on a world map? Do you know the flags of the different countries? Can you say ‘hello’ in five different languages?
Activities included dressing up in Georgian clothes, making bookmarks, making pipe cleaner dollies, colouring pages, a Tbilisi quiz with prizes, pebble painting ( with your name in Georgian).
The Lord Mayor of Bristol, councillor Andrew Varney, opened the event.
Great fun was had by all.
